Young appraiser Lin Chuan is drawn into a mystery by an ordinary commission—an ancient jade from a client bears a qilin pattern lost for a thousand years, followed by the “hunt” of mysterious woman Qin Luyao. It turns out the jade holds clues to the qilin treasure guarded by the Ming royal family, and Qin Luyao’s family has been treasure keepers for generations. Surprisingly, Lin Chuan’s origin is deeply tied to the treasure. From foes to allies, they fight together, unaware that an antique dealer group has laid traps behind the scenes. Every appraisal is a life-or-death game. Behind the qilin’s reappearance lies the ultimate showdown between inheritance and greed.
