Lin Zhe, an introverted programmer with social phobia, meets Li Shuang, a straightforward and fiery girl from Northeast China, at a friend's gathering. Their casual encounter disrupts his routine life: when his boss bullies him at work, she storms into the company with skewers to stand up for him; late at night, she brings hot iron pot stew to his rented apartment, turning it into a lively stage. Lin, who longs for stability, is moved by her straightforward tenderness, but accidentally learns Li will return to Northeast China to take over her family's iron pot stew restaurant. Stuck between choices, they create a heartwarming romantic comedy full of jokes and sweet moments.
