Lin Wan and her foster mom Li Guilan rely on each other, barely making ends meet with their breakfast stall at the alley. One day, Li was hit by a truck while delivering breakfast, suffering severe abdominal bleeding and a ruptured spleen— the hospital said “no hope”. Lin knelt in the hospital corridor, grabbing a man in a faded jacket and begging for help. Everyone told her “stop begging randomly”, but the man squatted down, touched her hand, and whispered, “Your mom's spleen pulse isn't broken. I can help.” He took out a needle bag, pricked three acupoints, and the ventilator alarm stopped! This man is Gu Chen, the “Miracle Doctor” who disappeared three years ago— he was framed for refusing to treat a greedy boss and went incognito. Lin's filial piety reminded him of his late mother, so he decided to help, and their fate began here.
