Terminal cancer patient Su Wan braves the snow on Christmas Eve to find her fiancé Lu Jingshen, begging him not to call off the wedding—she has only three months left, craving one last taste of “family.” But Lu Jingshen sneers while holding her stepsister: “You, a burden like this, dare to compare yourself to Ranran?” Her stepmother even throws her medical records into the snow: “Die elsewhere, don’t ruin our joy.” Su Wan collapses in the snow with a sharp heartache, tearing up the records with a tearful laugh: “Since you all want me dead, I’ll grant your wish.” Yet when she opens her eyes again, she sees Lu Jingshen kneeling outside the ICU, his hands bloodstained, begging: “Wanwan, I was wrong—don’t die…” And those who once trampled on her are now weeping, begging her to stay alive.
