Zhang Beixi, who has secretly loved Yu Xin for seven years, endures her sudden "summer hibernation" every year—phone off, no trace. In the eighth year, he finally follows her, only to find her in an old seaside villa, squatting by a hospital bed, holding a comatose man's hand and whispering, "Brother, this year I brought Beixi's news." It turns out the man is Zhang Beixi's missing brother, who fell into a vegetative state after saving Yu Xin from drowning five years ago. Yu Xin's "summer hibernation" is to keep the promise of waiting for him to wake up, and she hides the secret of "the brother's will asking her not to tell Beixi the truth." When the truth is exposed, how will Zhang Beixi face the lies and deep affection in the "summer hibernation"?
