In the depths of an old alley lies "The Cursed Pawnshop," housing five elements relics that can alter fate. Gu Chengchuan, the cold-faced owner, has waited a century for Su Wan—the spirit maiden who sacrificed herself to seal the relics in a past life. Now Su Wan comes, desperate to save her comatose boyfriend, and Gu offers the Red Fire Jade—at the cost of "forgetting the most precious person in her life." Su Wan agrees, and her boyfriend wakes up, but she starts having frequent dreams of a silver-masked man: their promise under the peach tree, their fight to seal the relics, and the "don’t forget me" by the Naihe Bridge. When Su Wan returns to the pawnshop, Gu’s face is fading—he’s been using half his soul to keep the shop, just to let Su Wan choose once: stay with her present love, or remember him from the past?
