Captain Gu Jingshen, a civil aviation pilot, disappeared in extreme turbulence during a transoceanic flight three years ago. Everyone believed he was dead—his wife Su Wan even held a memorial service with his flight log, crying as she buried his “empty coffin.” For three years, Su Wan ran the café where they got engaged, took care of his Alzheimer’s-stricken mother, and used her “widow” identity to keep all suitors away. Until one day, Gu Jingshen, in his uniform, stood outside the café’s French window, shaking a pearl milk tea with a smile: “Honey, I got your favorite sweetness.” Faced with Su Wan who thought he was a hallucination, Captain Gu launched his “flight-themed wife-chasing” mode: using global flight routes to spell out the unsaid “Marry me,” recreating their first meeting’s flight announcement in a simulator, and even shielding her from the troublemaking demolition team… But the thorn in Su Wan’s heart remains: why didn’t he send even a single “I’m alive” text? And the “post-traumatic amnesia” diagnosis hidden inside Gu Jingshen’s uniform reveals the truth behind his “three-year disappearance”—he was rescued by fishermen but lost his memory, and only recently, when he saw their photo in a rehab center, did he fight to find his way back…
