Office worker Lin Xiaoman almost dies in a ghostly loop after working overtime until midnight, accidentally binding to the "Forbidden Exorcist System"—she must complete 100 exorcism tasks to stay alive. Her first mission leads her to Su Yu, a strange "white-collar worker" who’s actually an ancient demon god feeding on human luck! Su Yu tries to siphon her luck but gets backfired by the system, forcing him to "protect" her to finish tasks. Thus begins Lin Xiaoman's hilarious double life: blowing herself black with a misused talisman, Su Yu passing her "ghost-repellent milk tea" when she’s chased by ghosts, the system popping up to urge tasks while she’s cramming a work proposal... As tasks progress, the system’s forbidden secret emerges—it doesn’t want her to exorcise ghosts at all, but to turn her into a "container"? Stuck between life-threatening missions and a demon god who acts disgusted but secretly cares, can Lin Xiaoman turn the tide?
