Su Wan, a cold corporate lawyer, travels alone to a remote town for a lawsuit involving homestay demolition, but gets stranded at "Gui Xu Homestay" due to a heavy rainstorm. The owner, Lin Shen, is a cheerful "busybody" who fixes her water-damaged laptop and insists on giving her a bowl of hot ginger tea—but Su Wan doesn’t know that Lin Shen is the victim whose family was ruined by her father’s company years ago. When the demolition order and the long-buried truth come to light, will the blade of revenge strike first, or will the affection fostered in their daily interactions break the ice first?
