Lin Xiaoman, a college student so poor she counts seasoning packets in instant noodles, accidentally binds to the "Roommate Money Swap System"—every penny she spends is deducted from her wealthy roommate Gu Zhao's account, while Gu Zhao's expenses automatically go into her balance. The two, who originally despised each other, are forced to "share a wallet": Lin buying a pancake triggers Gu's "bankruptcy alert," and Gu chases her for "reimbursement" after buying milk tea. As they bicker to dismantle the system, they gradually develop affection while "covering" for each other—yet the system hides an unfulfilled promise from their past lives?
