After three years of marriage, Bai Zitong notices a door in her husband Fan Zeyu's study—unlocked yet never allowed to be touched. Every time she asks, Fan dodges with “I'll tell you later.” Until one day, she opens it while he's on a business trip: walls covered with pregnancy journals, neatly folded baby clothes, and a photo of Fan with his late ex-wife. It turns out six years ago, his ex-wife died in childbirth, and he hid this pain because he feared Bai would mind his past. When Fan rushes home, he finds Bai holding those old items, saying softly: “From now on, I'll guard your past with you.” A door hides unspoken guilt; a love heals two broken hearts.
