Su Xiao, successor of a humble street noodle shop, has stuck to the craft noodles left by her grandma for a decade, but is sneered at by Gu Jingchen, an elite coming to inspect catering projects, as “unworthy of the table”. This contempt fuels Su’s fighting spirit. After accidentally tasting her noodles, Gu realizes he had misjudged the craftsman’s heart. From bickering to falling in love, they uncover a decades-old family misunderstanding, eventually making the old noodle shop famous across the city together. Gu also lets go of his prejudice and becomes Su’s strongest backer.
