Lin Xiaoman, a newly graduated police academy student, joined the force because her mother died in the unsolved "Route 11 Bus Crash" a decade ago. On her first day at work, she encounters an identical case—a late-night last bus plunges into the river, and one victim clutches the pearl bracelet her mother wore that year. Defying her captain's orders, she teams up with Lu Zhao, a cynical forensic genius, to investigate. They discover both bus drivers worked at the same mysterious nursing home, and in the basement mortuary of the home, there's the black box of the old bus... and a far more terrifying truth.
