Lin Wan, a food blogger documenting "Late-Night City Secrets," sneaks into a closed folk museum at night to find her grandfather's lost pocket watch. She stumbles upon Shen Shiyan, the icy museum director, and his "moonlight secret"—under the window, he's carefully repairing a Republic-era revolving lantern with gold thread, his cinnabar-stained fingertip brushing her hand. Shen has the watch and makes a deal: help him film a month of "late-night repair logs" (only hands, no faces). As they grow closer, Lin learns Shen isn't just fixing antiques—he's mending a 10-year-old "spring" in his heart: inside the lantern, a yellowed note reads, "When I grow up, I'll watch all the moonlight with Xiao Wan." Turns out, he's recognized her all along—those late-night moons were the dates he'd saved for a decade, waiting for her.
