Cold and glamorous CEO Su Wanqing has just taken over the Su Group when she faces a series of assassinations from competitors. Her grandfather forces retired special forces soldier Lu Jingshen to be her personal bodyguard. Su Wanqing finds him crude and overbearing—he crashes her private cocktail party to block suitors, modifies her business trip schedule without permission, and even rummages through her drawers for "dangerous items"! But every time a crisis strikes, it's Lu Jingshen who uses his body to shield her from knives and his wit to solve the problem. When Su Wanqing discovers that Lu Jingshen's "meddling" is actually to protect her 20-year-old secret—her missing younger brother, and Lu Jingshen also sees the softness beneath her tough exterior, they go from mutual dislike to mutual protection, joining hands to uncover the opponent's conspiracy and warm each other's hearts.
