On the morning when office drone Lin Xiaoman was cornered by his landlord at the rental house door for overdue rent, a golden-lit app called "Gold Hunt System" suddenly popped up on his phone—complete quirky tasks like "helping the pancake aunt defeat the internet-famous stall" or "giving a reverse birthday gift to his stingy boss," and he could earn tens of thousands in seconds! But the system gave a fatal order: spend one million within 30 days, otherwise all wealth will be wiped out! What's worse, Su Wan, the icy president of an investment bank, suddenly burst in, pointing at him and scolding him as a "scheme thief"—it turned out that the first pot of gold he earned through the system just clashed with Su Wan's half-year-prepared project! While he's forced to carry out ridiculous rich-people operations like "renting a yacht for the square dance team" or "throwing a luxury party for stray cats," he's also tangled in a subtle pull with the ice-cold president from bickering to rescuing each other. Why does Lin Xiaoman's "gold hunting" journey feel more and more like a sweet pet disaster?
