Lin Shen (played by He Congrui), a diver at an aquarium, is seen as an "outlier" for his ability to sense the ocean's emotions. Until ornithologist Su Xiaotang (played by Liu Nian) arrives with samples of mysterious dead birds from the coast—deep-sea pollutants are found inside the birds. Forced to work together, they discover clues leading to Su Xiaotang's father, who has been missing for a decade. Lin Shen's hidden "Son of the Sea" bloodline is the key to uncovering her father's whereabouts and the ocean conspiracy. As love blooms on the brink of truth, will they face the pursuit of interest groups or the fateful conflict between "flying birds and the sea"?
