Modern office worker Lin Chuan is accidentally reborn in 1992 as a "useless dad" of three kids—his wife is asking for a divorce, creditors are at the door, and his kids are bullied at school. Just when he hits rock bottom, the "Blessed Dad System" activates: fulfill the kids' wishes to unlock comeback buffs! To save his family, he clumsily fulfills their small wishes—getting squeezed like a rice dumpling while snatching a schoolbag, being chased by a farmer for rescuing a cat in a vegetable field, baking a "charcoal cake" for a birthday—full of hilarious blunders. Meanwhile, he uses the system's business opportunities to sell tapes and open a restaurant, earning his first pot of gold. He also uncovers the truth about his wife's divorce: she wanted to leave because she didn't want to burden him. As Lin Chuan makes a comeback, he gradually warms his broken family and realizes: the greatest blessing is having kids by his side and a loving partner.
