On a scorching summer noon, a 6-year-old girl is locked in her home. She presses against the iron door to send faint distress signals. When she calls her grandma, the latter is obsessed with mahjong games and hangs up the calls one after another. Trapped in the confined space with suffocating heat, the girl trembles in fear. In despair, a strange neighbor hears the faint sound, bends the anti-theft window with his bare hands and rushes into the dangerous scene, rescuing the nearly fainted girl. This human reversal in desperate situations shows the power of absent family affection and the kindness of strangers.
