After being accidentally kicked by a donkey, Princess Zhaoyang Yeqiong gets amnesia and is bound to a "Short-Life Renewal System"—she could die if failing the tasks. To survive, she forces the troublesome Prince Duan to team up, buys Chunfeng Building as their base by causing mischief, and accidentally gets involved in a huge treason case in the Inspection Department. The amnesiac princess has to handle the system that may fail anytime, and works with Prince Duan to solve mysteries, clear injustice and retrieve lost memories. They change from disliking each other to fighting side by side, creating a unique chemical reaction.
