share time: 2026-10-17 00:35:07

A modern playboy rich second generation named Lin Hao accidentally time-travels to ancient China and becomes the new magistrate of a remote small county. He plans to act as a clumsy local fool to laze around and live a laid-back "salted fish" life with his modern hacks, but on his first day in office, he runs into the gorgeous empress incognito. The empress notices his modern manners and quick wit that don't match the identity of the local fool magistrate, and starts probing step by step to expose his impostor identity. Caught between maintaining the facade to survive and the empress's tight pursuit, Lin Hao is forced to maneuver between goofing off and protecting his identity, and even accidentally solves a tricky local problem, becoming a "special official" around the empress.
