Su Wan, a wealthy returnee, returns home for her mother's funeral, only to be tricked by her property-greedy uncle into "alleviating poverty" in Taohua Village—the poorest village in western Shanxi. She plans to slack off, but finds the whole village spoils her like a treasure: the village head偷偷 gives her farm eggs, the pig farmer leaves the fattest pork, and even the pancake seller adds two extra eggs. Until she finds an old account book in the village committee, she uncovers the secret: ten years ago, her mother invested 3 million yuan in an ecological tea garden here. Now the garden is ready to harvest, and the village spoils her just to wait for her to take over this "money tree" that can make the whole village rich.
