Lin Xiaoman, a modern corporate slave, dies from overwork and unexpectedly reincarnates as a teenage girl in a 1998 small town. She also binds to a "Nostalgia Procurement System"—which allows her to buy childhood items from 2024, like crispy noodles, four-wheel drive cars, and cassette tapes. But the system has a condition: she must use these "future nostalgia" items to help the townsfolk make up for their past regrets—delivering the love letter that the popsicle-selling grandma hid for decades, helping her best friend get back together with his first love who broke up due to a misunderstanding, and even stopping her own mother from leaving for work in another city back then... However, every time she completes a task, Lin Xiaoman's memories of the modern world fade a little. She starts to wonder: Is this system letting her save others, or is it devouring her "present"?
