Firefighter Chang Wenjing and his girlfriend Su Xiaozhou had been in love for three years. They planned to propose with the fireworks that marked their first meeting on Qixi Festival. But during a mission, he rushed into a fire to save a child and never returned. Su Xiaozhou waited all night, only to learn of his death—and discovered she was pregnant. When sorting his relics, she found a ring engraved with "Zhouzhou" and a note in his fire suit: "Fireworks will fade, but my love for you is a spark that never dies." That night, she lit the unused fireworks, and in the flames, she seemed to see him smiling: "I'm here for our date."
