Su Wan disguises herself as an "obedient girl" to become the assistant of Gu Shen, president of Gu's Group, aiming to investigate her sister's disappearance. Little does she know, her tricks are long seen through by Gu Shen——this seemingly cold总裁 has actually fallen for her and intentionally plays along: he pretends not to see her sneaking through files, deliberately keeps her overtime despite knowing she's afraid of the dark, then sends her home quietly. When Su Wan's disguise gradually falls apart, Gu Shen's "reverse scheme" is revealed——he knew her purpose all along, but he's willing to be her "prey", because what he wants is never the "obedient" her, but the real her.
