Lin Xiaoman, a "workaholic" in Beijing's internet industry, has her three-month熬夜 project stolen by a colleague, and her five-year boyfriend gets engaged to her best friend overnight. Devastated, she flees to her grandmother's village in western Zhejiang, only to find her grandmother hospitalized with a serious illness—her only worry is the 30-year-old old tea shop. To fulfill her grandmother's wish, Xiaoman stays to revive the tea shop, but runs into Chen Mo, her childhood playmate—now an architect who rejected an overseas offer, determined to "renovate" the village's old buildings. They argue fiercely over the tea shop's future, but in their disputes, they discover unspoken feelings: Chen Mo once dared not confess because of Xiaoman's "big city dream," and Xiaoman rediscovers the "warmth of life" lost in her career through tea-making. Just as the tea shop starts to thrive, a demolition notice from the developer arrives—can they protect this new life sprouting from the dust?
