Lin Wan, 40, is an "invisible person" crushed by workplace PUA and family neglect. When sorting her late mother’s belongings, she stumbles upon a notebook filled with unfulfilled wishes: learning watercolor, watching the sea at dawn, reconnecting with her mother’s old best friend. Awakened, she quits her draining job and embarks on a journey to "complete her mother’s life." At a seaside café, she meets Gu Chuan, the owner who also carries regrets. As they help each other break free from life’s chains, Lin Wan not only fulfills her mother’s wishes but also rediscovers her long-forgotten painting talent. Turns out, "a new life" isn’t about starting over—it’s about finally daring to face the suppressed "I want" in her heart.
