Yu Hang, a modern agricultural technician, accidentally travels back to Qingyuan County, the poorest in ancient times. The county is suffering from a century-long drought with no harvest—half the villagers have fled, and the remaining elderly and children have lost hope of survival. He first convinces Qu to help, then lets starving kids taste their first hot sweet potato in three years.
