New journalist Zhang Jiayi infiltrates the "Wild Fire" bar as a bartender to investigate the arson case that killed her mother three years ago, targeting the mysterious owner Ye Senlin——this man who always polishes红酒 glasses late at night with a dangerous smile on his lips is actually connected to a cufflink found at the crime scene. Amidst their试探, ambiguous sparks fly: the warmth of their fingertips brushing when Ye teaches her to mix the "Evil Fire" cocktail, the heartbeat when Zhang is pinned against his chest while snooping through his drawer... But when she finally uncovers key evidence, she finds Ye hiding the last phone call recording of her mother——and the voice in the recording is a "different mother" she's never known. When the暧昧 between their lips and teeth is engulfed by truth and hatred, should she trust her investigation, or the man who makes her heart race?
