On the last day before Spring Festival, Lin Xiaoman, an intern at a pet hospital, is forced into a "special overtime task"—delivering hundreds of cattle and horses from a farm to rural breeders. Fed up and eager to catch the last bus home, she encounters one "problem" after another: a stubborn old ox that’s the only companion of a lonely grandpa, a mare with a foal that’s a留守儿童’s Spring Festival gift, and even the rough-around-the-edges truck driver Zhou Ming, who’s hiding a secret of picking up his terminally ill mother for the holiday. As "delivering livestock" turns into "delivering hope", Lin Xiaoman struggles to fix messes while realizing: the "small things" she dismissed are exactly what others have been waiting for all year. And at the last stop, the person waiting at the village entrance is her father—whom she hasn’t seen in three years...
