Surgeon Lin Shen is always haunted by the same dream—in an ancient battlefield, as a general, he watches Su Wan, a woman in a wedding dress, take a sword for him and die. Until one day, Shen Wan, who looks exactly like Su Wan, appears in the emergency room. She lost part of her memory in a car accident but feels an instinctive closeness to Lin Shen. As they interact, Lin Shen discovers that Shen Wan’s jade pendant is a pair with his family heirloom. The truth of their past life gradually emerges: they once promised “This life for you, never leave nor forsake,” but were separated by war. However, Shen Wan already has a “fiancé” by her side in this life. How will Lin Shen awaken her memories and break the cycle of fate?
