Lin Wan, a designer on the verge of bankruptcy, grits her teeth to meet a mysterious investor for her studio—only to open the door to Gu Chen, her first love who vanished without a trace ten years ago. She tenses up immediately, convinced he’s here to kick her when she’s down, so she fights back with sharp words and defenses. But Gu Chen actually returned for her, hiding the misunderstanding from back then and silently helping her through the crisis. When the studio is pushed to the brink by competitors, their quarrel uncovers the truth: his “disappearance” was to raise tuition for her, but she mistook it for abandonment. Is this “misplaced” reunion a twist of fate, or a second chance for the lovers who missed each other?
