Lin Wanwan, the heiress of a conglomerate, returns to China to take over the family business but immediately faces successive anonymous threats. Her grandfather urgently dispatches Shen Han, a "cold-as-ice bodyguard," to protect her 24/7. Lin initially resents his coldness but accidentally discovers Shen Han is the little boy who saved her from a fire years ago. As threats escalate, they uncover a conspiracy—someone is trying to seize the Lin family's assets, even involving an old debt from her grandfather's past. When danger looms, Shen Han's "protection" has long turned from a mission into an obsession, and Lin falls for this "unsmiling bodyguard" through dependence. But can they guard the family, and each other?
