Emperor Gu Zhaonan of Da Zhao goes incognito to investigate traitors, but is chased into the "Red Flame Stronghold" and becomes the "concubine" of the bandit leader Bao Jinni. The dignified emperor is forced to wear pink clothes, drink tonic soup, and endure the bandit queen's scolding. However, the naive Bao Jinni sees him as a "weak pretty boy"—she shields him from knives, feeds him, and even vows to help him "regain the throne". While the emperor secretly plans to suppress the rebellion, the bandit queen pours her heart into pampering him. When the fallen emperor meets the reckless bandit queen, will the emperor first drop his "weak" mask, or will the bandit queen first realize the man in her arms is far from "harmless"?
