Su Wan, a top ballet dancer, falls into self-doubt after a stage accident. She hides in a seaside aquarium to heal and meets Lin Shen, a quiet whale trainer. Lin Shen’s gentle connection with whales mends her broken spirit, and their bond deepens between the tide’s rhythm and her spinning toes—but Su Wan’s comeback performance is her decade-long dream, and Lin Shen receives a crucial invitation to study whale pods in Antarctica. When the “bird’s” stage reaches for higher clouds and the “fish’s” world dives into deeper seas, can this couple with entirely different paths carve out an exception for each other in their “different roads”?
