Lin Shen, once the "Night Fishing God" who dominated the fishing world, retired to a small town to run a fish restaurant after being framed in a competition. Three years later, Su Xiao, a talented female apprentice, comes to him—revealing that the "cheating scandal" back then was a frame-up by his rival, who is now suppressing newcomers in the Fishing King Tournament. Lin Shen wanted to stay away, but when he sees Su Xiao being bullied, he regains his passion. He teaches her his unique fishing skills while secretly investigating the truth. A story of revenge and inheritance about fishing begins.
