Lin Wanying (played by Wen Moyan), a grassroots community worker, bears all life's burdens alone to care for her critically ill mother, yet still shines for her neighbors like a firefly. Gu Chengguang (played by Liu Ning), a returnee architect closed off due to childhood trauma, clashes fiercely with Lin Wanying—who insists on preserving the community's old building—when he returns to handle his former home. From confrontation to quiet connection, Gu understands the exhaustion behind her smile, while Lin uncovers the tenderness beneath his coldness. When two "lonely lights" meet, can their faint glows warm the darkness in each other's lives?
