The day her ten-year best friend Su Wan was diagnosed with leukemia, Lin Xiaoman found an unfinished wedding dress design in her drawer—it was the "dress of a lifetime" Su Wan had promised with her ex-boyfriend, who had long disappeared. To fulfill Su Wan's wish of "wearing a wedding dress and walking into the church", Lin Xiaoman secretly sold her tea shop saved for starting a business, begged wedding companies for credit, and even swallowed her pride to ask a senior she once rejected to play the groom. The night before the wedding, Su Wan found Lin Xiaoman's IOUs and shop sale contract, crying to call off the wedding. Lin Xiaoman smiled and pulled out a note Su Wan wrote years ago: "If you dare die, I'll live like both of us." Ten years ago, when Lin Xiaoman tried to drown herself after a breakup, Su Wan risked her life to pull her up. Now, it's her turn to give that light back to her dearest friend.
