Lin Xiaoman, who just got laid off from her job, finds a mysterious "Wish Notebook"—her small wishes start coming true one after another: a warm milk tea is handed to her when she works late, a failing job interview suddenly turns around, and even her missing cat comes home on its own. Just as she thinks "good luck has finally come to me", she discovers all these "lucky breaks" are from Gu Chuan, her neighbor programmer—he secretly revised her resume, asked a colleague to save the milk tea, and posted twenty lost cat flyers. But Gu Chuan is leaving for the US next week. Will this "anonymous kindness" be a missed regret, or the start of a mutual journey?
