Chen Mo, a low-level jade digger in Hotan, struggles to earn money for his critically ill mother's medical bills. By chance, he obtains a mysterious map from an old miner—marking the legendary "ownerless riverbed" where jade could save his mother! But Zhou Hu has long targeted this "prize": he smashes Chen's shack and threatens to cut off his mother's hospital bed. Just as hope fades, Lin Wan, an archaeology student, appears with evidence of Zhou's illegal mining. She proposes a deal: team up to protect the riverbed and expose the truth. Yet when they dig the first layer of the riverbed, they find the jade bracelet Chen's mother lost years ago...
