Lin Xiaoman, a cultural relic restorer, accidentally awakens Gu Zhaozhi, a painter trapped in an ancient painting for 300 years—his soul was locked in his work "Peach Path Snow" because he failed to keep a promise to his lover in a past life. As they grow closer, Xiaoman discovers she is the reincarnation of Gu Zhaozhi's former lover, and behind that old promise lies a conspiracy that wiped out the entire Gu family. When Xiaoman tries to break the curse, she finds her life is bound to the painting soul: if Gu Zhaozhi reincarnates, she will lose all memories of him; if they stay together, Gu Zhaozhi will gradually vanish. Trapped between "forgetting" and "perishing," can they find salvation across time and space?
