The 30-year-old "Fuxing Market" in the old alley, a hub of warmth and nostalgia, is suddenly facing demolition to make way for a commercial complex. Wang Yunyun, who just took over her grandma's sugar water shop, refuses to let her childhood memories be crushed by bulldozers. Yang Pengcheng, the architect in charge of the demolition plan, turns out to be the "little crybaby" who used to sneak sugar from her shop as a kid. Torn between his career obligations and the buried memories of the market, Yang secretly joins Wang's side. Together, they organize a retro market, dig up a Republic-era document protecting the market, and rally neighbors to write "market stories"... When excavators roll into the alley, they hold a lantern covered with old photos, with all the vendors—holding spatulas and sugar water bowls—behind them. This "battle" isn't just about saving shops; it's about guarding the warmth etched in their souls.
