Gong Ruolan, the "Sword Ghost" who retired three years ago, is forced back into the spotlight by a challenge from 19-year-old Wu Yu'en—who wields his late father's broken sword and vows to "shatter her undefeated myth". During their duel, Gong Ruolan is stunned to find the boy's sword moves hide the "Snow-Stepping Footwork", a unique skill of her senior brother Lin Shen. Lin Shen is the man who was framed for "cheating" in a competition a decade ago, destroyed his own sword skills in despair, and is also Wu Yu'en's father—someone he never met. When the blade of revenge targets an old friend's son, and as the long-buried injustice emerges, is this duel in the name of swordsmanship meant to cut ties with the past, or to reclaim the original heart of swordsmanship buried by worldly affairs?
