Lin Chuan, the village's most infamous coward, finds a cute little girl at the foot of the mountain one day. From then on, his life takes a magical turn—he stumbles upon wild ginseng while chopping wood, meets a wealthy merchant when selling vegetables, and even the matchmaker who once avoided him like the plague crowds his door. But the girl has a secret: she's a lost Lucky Baby from Heaven, tasked with "enlightening the destined one." When a greedy landlord tries to kidnap her for good fortune, the usually timid Lin Chuan picks up a hoe for the first time and stands in front of her: "Who dares touch my daughter!" The Lucky Baby, watching her dusty dad, suddenly bursts into tears and hugs him: "I don't want to go back to Heaven—I want to be Daddy's little Lucky Baby forever!" Turns out the best luck isn't from the sky—it's someone who protects you and becomes a hero just for you.
