Lin Xiaoman, an intern nurse, takes in Gu Jingshen, an "amnesiac patient," out of kindness. She expects a helpless troublemaker, but Gu turns into a straightforward "little wolfdog"—insisting on sticking close to learn chopping veggies while making porridge, waiting at the door to hug her waist for affection when she’s late, even secretly donating new hospital equipment after her complaint. Until one day, Xiaoman stumbles into a business banquet and sees Gu—who “couldn’t even use a phone”—in a custom suit, crushing rivals with a cold face. She grabs his patient gown to run, but is pulled back into an embrace: "Xiaoman, I wasn’t amnesiac. I just wanted to be the ordinary one who eats hot porridge with you."
