Su Xiaoman (played by Yang Rong), the "little tyrant" of the vegetable market fish stall, is forced to fake a marriage with Gu Shen (played by Li Tai), a top star in hiding due to a scandal—she needs money for her terminally ill mother, while he needs a "good man" persona to make a comeback.
