Gan Wangxing plays Lin Shen, a "Sorrow-Settling Psychic" hiding in an old alley, who can sense people's unspoken obsessions but has closed his heart over the regret of failing to save his childhood sweetheart. Until Zhi Chunhe's Su Wan bursts in—a girl always wearing a smile, determined to find "her deceased best friend's unsaid words." But the moment Lin Shen touches her, he sees fragments of his own past memories. As they work together to unravel the best friend's obsession, Lin Shen discovers that Su Wan's "smile" is just a disguise, and her hidden pain is tightly intertwined with his own unresolved past. When the truth of his psychic abilities is revealed, can they untie each other's unresolved knots together?
