Lin Wan, a top appraiser, encounters a tricky first case upon returning to China: the wealthy client’s “family-heirloom blue and white porcelain” is a fake, and the mastermind is Shen Mo, her ex who vanished five years ago. It turns out the porcelain hides key evidence of her teacher’s false accusation of “authenticating fakes” years ago—Shen Mo set the trap to uncover the truth. Lin Wan must uphold her professional ethics to expose the fake while navigating the conflict between old love and her teacher’s unjust case. When the fake porcelain shatters, a yellowed note inside reveals a decade-old feud and genuine feelings.
