Jewelry designer Su Wan infiltrates the company of the cold jewelry tycoon Lu Jingshen as an assistant, determined to retrieve her mother's relic—the "Thorn Kiss" necklace. She thinks Lu is a profit-obsessed businessman, but stumbles upon his hidden tenderness: taking care of an employee's sick child late at night, secretly repairing the cracks in old necklaces. Just as Su Wan lowers her guard, she catches Lu staring at her mother's old photo while holding the "Thorn Kiss"—it turns out that twenty years ago, Lu's father's business betrayal led to Su's mother's suicide, and Lu Jingshen was the little boy who gave the young Su Wan a candy and hid the necklace. The truth pierces them like thorns. How can they catch the thorny rose between family hatred and unspoken love?
