Long Yin, the supreme emperor of ancient times, travels to the 21st-century city through a fragment of an ancient book, becoming a "down-and-out tenant" dependent on others. Once ruling over all, he now has to learn to use smartphones, squeeze into subways, and deal with his sharp-tongued roommate—Su Wan, a female lawyer. To his shock, Su Wan carries the jade pendant of his past-life concubine, hiding a millennium-old fate: if he can't find the other half of the pendant, he'll be trapped in the modern world forever. When imperial majesty collides with modern rules, and fateful love meets a sharp-tongued career woman, can Long Yin regain his identity and love in the concrete jungle?
